Nicholas dePencier Wright is principal legal counsel at Wright Business Law. He is a certified specialist in corporate/commercial law by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Nick has extensive experience helping organizations structure, negotiate and finance their business strategies. He has been involved with numerous businesses and organizations at all stages of development from incorporation and financing to sale. Nick has also been actively involved in politics and the not-for-profit sector for many years. He is an advisor and board member for a number of organizations and provides political strategic planning, campaigning and government relations services to select clients. Licensed to practice law in the Province of Ontario, Nick holds Law and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Dalhousie University, a masters in tax law LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours BA in Philosophy from King’s College, Halifax. Claudia Vazquez, JD (Articling Student)
Claudia graduated from Osgoode Hall law school in Toronto, Ontario. During her legal studies, she had the opportunity to participate in various projects that broadened her understanding of different areas of the law. She conducted legislative research for Harvard University, analyzing the impact of a proposed bill on commercial transactions in the United States, and worked with Pro Bono Students Canada on its Family Law Project, providing assistance to unrepresented parties in family law matters including child custody and access applications. Claudia volunteers with the Toronto Vegetarian Association and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
William A. King, JD (Retired)
Bill practised law in Ontario for over forty years. A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, he was called to the Bar in 1973. He has spent his career advising family business and private companies on corporate/commercial matters, real estate transactions and estate planning. In his free time Bill enjoys spending time on his sailboat on Lake Ontario – weather permitting. Upon retirement Bill transitioned his practice to Wright Business Law and continues to share his knowledge and expertise.
